Nick made this generator bicycle out of free stuff. The exercise bike was in a dumpster, he sanded it down to bare metal, primered it and painted it. Then he acquired a motor to use as a generator. He enlisted the help of Adam to weld up a frame for the motor. The front wheel was made from 2x4 and pieced together by hand. His wife turned the wheel while he used a wood gouge to carve the rectangles into a smooth wheel with a groove in the middle for the belt. He turned the pulley on the motor on our metal lathe at the space. Below are some pics of this awesome project.
